DJ Producer Dil Raju plans to opt for change in the objected lyrics
Dil Raju: Dronamraju the spokesperson of the Brahmin associations has filed immense petitions to the Censor Board Minister for Cinematography, and DGP. Regarding the use of Namakam Chamakam in the song Gudilo Badilo from DJ Duvvada Jagannadham.
However, the filmmaker Harish Shankar gave in his clear explanations on this issue. He had asked the Brahmins to understand the story and situation before commenting on it. Harish Shankar also mentions that he himself, as a Brahmin would never be able to write any scene that can spoil the image of his community or cast bad light on them. Director Harish Shankar also gave in umpteen number of examples about other great lyricists and musicians but in vain. Like how Veturi used Hindu chants in romantic songs, is one out of them. Still the Brahmin sect was not convinced and stood firm not to back up on their statement. They have however sent a plea to the censor board to cut the wordings when the film comes to censor certification.
Dil Raju to change Gudilo Badilo song wordings soon
The film censor board is actually a Governmental office. With the BJP party's upper hand on these matters, the bankroller Mr. Dil Raju doesn't want to take any chances and create unnecessary disputes with the board officials. Thus he has decided to alter the lines from the song, and a source specified that it shall be rewritten shortly.
